Hair Grades

Lower grade hair, usually 4A or 5A are usually sold in local beauty supply stores. This hair is very low quality, will tangle and will shed profusely. It Is best to purchase in shorter lengths no longer than 12 inches. This grade of hair can last up to four weeks if it is taken care of.

6A grade hair - works very well with straight hair, it is also great for those on a budget. This hair can be reused and is good for 12 to 18 inches and will last up to six months to one year if it is well taken care of.

7A and 8A Grade hair – Those who desire a length over 18 inches should purchase 7A or 8A grade hair. A higher grade of hair will decrease the amount of shedding and tangling. The curlier or longer the hair, the more likely it is to tangle.

9A and 10A Grade Hair – This is considered the luxury grade. It is more expensive however, because of the great quality, it is well worth it. The double stitching decreases the amount of shedding and tangling.
